The album "Bestial Mixture" by the duo Renzo and Lucia, released on June 13, 2026, by the Perihelion label, is a complex and avant-garde sonic work that moves between electronic, dark, and experimental music. Composed entirely by Pierpaolo Beretta (who also produced it for Perihelion), the album represents a hypnotic descent into dark and industrial atmospheres, where the literary tradition evoked by the project's name abruptly collides with the most extreme and dystopian modernity.
Atmospheres and Sounds: The album is distinguished by a rigorous and uncompromising sonic aesthetic.
Dark Electronica: Dark analog synths, deep bass lines, and obsessive rhythms reminiscent of darkwave and avant-garde industrial.
Radical Experimentation:
Use of unusual sampling, controlled distortions, and noise structures that challenge the classic song format.
Soundscapes: Tracks that unfold like cinematic glimpses, evoking a sense of claustrophobia, tension, and mystery.
Production and Composition:
Pierpaolo Beretta's signature ensures obsessive attention to sound design, a surgical sound design: every single frequency and distortion is calibrated to create a stark contrast between moments of empty minimalism and sudden sonic explosions.
